Coach Marx returned to Buies Creek as the head coach in July of 2024 after spending the previous 4 seasons at Purdue University.  Coach Marx spent 5 years as the Recruiting Coordinator, Hitting Coach, and eventually as the Pitching Coach while serving as the top assistant for Justin Haire.  The Camels improved from a 7th place CAA finish in 2024 to a 3rd place CAA finish in Coach Marx's first year in 2025.
