A Red Shirt Junior outfielder from Clinton, Iowa. Simpson had found himself in the line up at the start of last season until he suffered a season ending injury. Before Campbell, Simpson played two years at Kirkwood Community College, where he was second team All-conference each season.  In 115 games across two seasons Simpson slashed .347/.430/.621 with 152 hits. Simpson is a dynamic athlete who looks to come back this season and find his footing back in the lineup for the Camels.
